Abstract

In this article, the author discusses the use of campaign finance law to limit political campaign spending. The author asserts that concerns regarding electoral campaign financing may be handled better upon review of the contribution process and the concept of corruption. He notes that the jurisprudence of the U.S. Supreme Court settled on a logic which permits constitutional protection to the money spending capacity in the advancement of electoral speech.
