Abstract
The article focuses on the dormant commerce clause, which prevents states from regulating interstate commerce due to the constitutional jurisdiction of the U.S. federal government. Information is provided on the U.S. Supreme Court's interpretation of the clause and the constitutionality of federalist protections against states' rights.
