Abstract

The article presents a response to law professor Richard Sander's article "Class in American Legal Education" which appears in the same issue of the Denver University Law Review. It examines Sander's call for a redistributive approach to the lack of socioeconomic diversity at top-tier U.S. law schools. Several of the typical law school admission factors are addressed, including undergraduate grade point averages (GPA), Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) scores, and legacy preference admissions.
