Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Constitution and legal interpretation theories such as originalism, as they relate to the book "Living Originalism" by Jack M. Balkin. Legal precedents are mentioned, and analyses of Balkin's opinions on various interpretive methodologies and American legal theories are provided. The U.S. Supreme Court (USSC) case District of Columbia v.
