Abstract
The following essays are based on papers presented at the Midwest Clinical Teachers Conference held on October 8-10, 1993, at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. The Conference was devoted to issues relating to the "MacCrate Report" (American Bar Association Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, Legal Education and Professional Development – An Educational Continuum, Report of the Task Force on Law Schools and the Profession: Narrowing the Gap (1992)). In particular, the Conference focused on implementation of the Report, significant curricular developments in the teaching of skills and values, and clinicians' perspectives on the Report. The following essays address these and related subjects.
